Artful Adventures with Delia Baker
Give your homeschool student a vibrant, hands-on art experience with Delia Baker—an experienced homeschool mom of three (now grown!) and former 1st and 7th grade private school teacher. A self-taught artist in watercolor and acrylics, Delia believes deeply in the importance of art, creativity, and music in a child’s development, and she brings that passion into every class.
Each 1½-hour class is filled with exploration and imagination. Students will work with watercolors, acrylics, ink, and pen, along with plenty of recycled materials such as cardboard and paper towel or toilet paper rolls—proving that creativity can transform everyday items into meaningful art. (Be sure to wear paint-friendly clothing!)
Because homeschool classes often include mixed age groups, Delia thoughtfully adapts each project based on students’ ages and abilities. Classes begin with foundational concepts like perspective and shapes while encouraging creative expression, allowing Delia to discover each child’s unique strengths and nurture their individual artistic voice.
