Thursdays, 6–9 PM (New Sessions begin on the first Thursday of each month and meet weekly on Thursdays.)

$125 for 4-5 Classes

 

Discover the art of pottery in our hands-on classes! Each session includes expert instruction, clay, glazes, and firing. By the end of the course, every student will take home at least two finished pieces.

 

All skill levels welcome!

Explore the art of hand-built pottery in a relaxed, creative environment at the Guthrie Art Center. In these classes, patrons can choose from a menu of project options, allowing you to create a piece that fits your interests and the season.

 

All classes are taught by GAC artist, Martha Miller, and are designed to be completed over two sessions, giving your work time to dry, be glazed, and fired properly.

 

The class fee includes all instruction, clay, glazes, and firing—no prior experience required.

 

Classes are perfect for individuals or groups, whether you’re planning a date night, a friends’ night out, or a just-for-fun party. Private group sessions are a great way to create together and make lasting memories.

 

Scheduling: Classes are flexible and can be scheduled to fit your calendar. 

You may:

• Contact us in advance to select a date and then pay online, or

• Register for the class online and we will contact you to schedule your sessions.
