Kim Harrison has been an artist throughout her life, continually exploring new mediums and creative expression. About twelve years ago, she discovered alcohol inks—a vibrant and fluid medium that immediately captured her imagination and continues to inspire her work today.

Drawn to their bold, luminous colors and spontaneous movement, Kim specializes in creating expressive pieces using alcohol inks on Yupo paper, a non-porous surface that allows the inks to flow freely. She appreciates the forgiving nature of Yupo, which encourages experimentation and makes the process approachable for artists of all skill levels.

Kim brings enthusiasm and a sense of discovery to her teaching, helping students embrace the unique beauty and unpredictability of alcohol ink painting.
