Treka offers individual and group needle felting and wet felting classes by appointment, welcoming everyone from complete beginners to seasoned felters looking to refine their skills. With patient, hands-on instruction, she guides students through techniques that encourage creativity, confidence, and personal expression—helping each participant bring their own unique vision to life in fiber.

Wet Felted Tote Basket

Create a beautiful and functional felted basket that’s as practical as it is artistic! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to wet felt a sturdy, sculptural tote using two tones of wool over a closed resist pattern. Perfect for holding your knitting, spinning, or sewing projects, this basket is a versatile piece you’ll use again and again. It would even be great as a purse or lunch tote!
What you’ll learn:
- Wet felting techniques for shaping and structure.
- How to work over a closed resist pattern.
- Creating smooth color transitions with two-tone wool.
- Forming handles and refining your final shape.
